A shady show from the past just got an even shadier reboot.
Welcome (back) to The Mole, Netflix’s revival of an almost forgotten ABC reality show where 12 players “work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end,” according to the official description. “Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated ‘the Mole’ and tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts. In the end, one player will outlast their competition and expose the Mole to win the prize pot.”
Sound simple? Far from it.
In the first five episodes (now available to stream), it doesn’t take long for suspicions to start flying. And with editing that’s akin to The Circle, this new series is bingeable to the max and highly addictive. (You’ve been warned!)
A bit of housekeeping: Episodes 6-8 will be available Friday, Oct. 14; the season’s final two episodes will follow Friday, Oct. 21. Without further ado, let’s take a look at look at the highlights from the first five episodes (and be sure to grade the first five episodes in our poll below )!
